School Year Program
Admission
Children ages 2-5 years old are eligible for admission. Parents are encouraged to take a tour of the school prior to registering, where families will be able to see the program and classroom and cover expectations and the curriculum. Registration will be processed online, and the application must be completed in full in order for students to start. This includes bringing supporting documents as needed- current immunization records and a physician’s statement, as well as hearing and vision for those who are four and older. Depending on space/availability, children are enrolled and can be placed on a waitlist if necessary.
Financial Assistance
At the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, we strongly feel that income should not be a barrier to joining the Y or participating in our programs. Anyone can apply to receive financial support. Eligibility for financial support and the amount of financial support that can be given is determined on a case-by-case basis. Learn more about our financial assistance: HERE
Tuition
There is a one-time registration fee of $100, which covers the entire program year, August to May.
Tuition is weekly and based on attendance and membership status.
Part Time:
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 12pm
- Cost: $160 Members, $199 Non-Members
Full Time:
- Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm
- Cost: $265 Members, $332 Non-Members
For any cancellation, a minimum of two weeks' written notice from the draft date is required.
DISCOUNTS:
- Sibling Discount: $5 off for the second child per week, $10 off for the third child or more per week
- Plano ISD Employee Discount: $5/week per child

Morning and afternoon snacks and lunch are also included in the tuition.
Tuition will be an automatic draft that occurs the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date. Tuition is only collected for weeks in session and not reduced for family vacations, absences, or closures. Tuition must be paid during absences for your spot to be held.
